Colt McDowell
Director

Colt McDowell attended Leesburg High School (Leesburg, FL) from 1994-1998, where he played basketball all four years of high school. After high school, Colt was able to continue his education and athletic career at LaGrange College (LaGrange, GA) earning his undergraduate degree with a major in History while playing four years of varsity basketball for the Panthers. In addition to his role as serving as the Director of the Buffalo Stampeders, Colt is also the Assistant Athletic Director and the Head Basketball Coach at The Villages High School. Colt and his wife, Jessica, have two children: daughter, Bella Ann (13 years old) and son, Taylor Dean (10 years old). The one thing that Coach McDowell is most excited about for the Buffalo Stampeders is the opportunity to help the young athletes in their relentless pursuit to do their best in the classroom, in the community, and on the court/playing field.

Amy Betzer
Assistant Director

Amy Betzer grew up in Illinois, where she graduated from Springfield High School. In high school, Amy was a two-sport lettering athlete in both volleyball and softball. She received a full sports scholarship in both volleyball and softball at Lincoln Land Community College before completing her Bachelor of Arts in Special Education in 1997 at Illinois State University. Amy formerly served as a Health Science teacher and ESE Teacher at The Villages Charter Middle School. Amy and her husband, Bryan, have two sons: Logan (22) and Keegan (19). Amy is very excited to work for the Buffalo Stampeders and looks forward to helping each youth athlete become the best that they can be.

Marty Dzuro
Assistant Director

Marty Dzuro graduated from The Villages High School in 2012. While at VHS, he played for basketball for three years (2008-2011) and golf for two years (2008-2009). During the 2011-2012 season, he served as Senior Manager and Student Assistant Coach. From 2012-2016, Coach Dzuro attended Stetson University in Deland, Florida while also serving as a high school basketball official with A-1 Officials Association in Daytona Beach, FL. In the Summer of 2021, Marty finished his Bachelor of Arts degree online with Arizona State University, majoring in Liberal Studies. Coach Dzuro and his wife, Jennifer, live in Oxford Oaks and are parents to one cat, Faust. Marty started full-time for the Buffalo Stampeders in August of 2021 after working for The Villages for the past 5 years. He is also a member of The Villages High School Boys Basketball coaching staff where he is the Director of Basketball Operations. He is excited to be organizing the logistics, marketing, and facilities for the Buffalo Stampeders.
