What: This program hones players' skills through training sessions, with drills focusing on ball handling, movement, shooting, agility, passing, and more. Experienced coaches will lead the sessions and develop player abilities.
Who: Open to both boys and girls, regardless of school in grades K–8, who are committed to working hard and improving their game. Players will be divided by ability, not necessarily by grade.
When: Program begins Aug. 25 and runs through Oct. 1, with workouts held from 6:30-7:45 p.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights.
Where: Buffalo Sports Complex, The Villages High School in Middleton, Florida.
What: This is a recreational league where players are placed on teams that practice twice a week and play a game on the weekend. Every athlete plays in each game.
Who: Open to boys and girls, entering grades K–HS, who want to have fun, learn the game and play in a developmental atmosphere. New this year, we are adding high school teams. Volunteer coaches are also needed for each team, with PI hours available for parents of The Villages Charter School students.
When: Starts Oct. 1 and practices are held on Tuesday and Thursday nights. Games begin Oct. 17 and run through Dec. 12.
Where: The Villages Charter School in Middleton, Florida.
What: This competitive program is designed for athletes who desire to play at the next level. Tryouts are held and selected players compete as a team in tournaments against some of the best players in the southeastern United States.
Who: Open to boys and girls, entering grades 5-HS, who want to compete, grow, and commit to a travel team.
When: Tryouts are Oct. 10, 2026, with practices beginning in March (Tuesday and Thursday nights), and tournament play to be held in March, April, May and July.
Where: Tryouts to be held at The Villages Charter School in Middleton, Florida.
